JOJI, or George Kusunoki Miller, is a Japanese Australian American based singer songwriter with deep rooted internet origins. Growing up, I watched his previous personas as Flithy Frank and Pink Guy, before he professionally transitioned to releasing music as Joji. His music style varies between a mix of R&B, lo-fi, and trip hop, where he leans into having a down tempo, melancholic theme and soulful voice with minimalistic production, letting his song and lyric writing do the story telling itself.
Having grown up following him and seeing him live, his work really has impacted me personally, hence the need to visually encapsulate his style of work with my own work.
